The Cubano font is a modern, contemporary, bold sans serif typeface. This font’s unique features and style are quite different from the line. The font was designed by Greenville, South Carolina-based graphic designer Chandler Van De Water.
After the confirmed design of the font was approved, it was published through Lost Type Co-op in 2012. At first, it was one regular weight. Later, the designers added and released four weights: regular, italic, sharp, and sharp italic.
The font has 170 glyphs and 200 characters. However, it is in uppercase only with a single weight and a matching italic. It has rounded corners, heavy strokes, and condensed letterforms. That can be chosen as a relevant layout for any design. Additionally, The condensed format has heavy strokes and soft, rounded corners that give it a friendly feel.
