About Squid Game Series
Squid Game is a South Korean survival drama television series that is said to be released on September 17, 2021, through Netflix. The series is directed by Hwang Dong Hyuk and is a nine-episode series that tells the story of people who were invited to play a survival game disguised as children’s games. The game is played for cash, and the main character, Seung Gi Hun, is the last player to enter the competition.
The series is said to be based on real-life events in Korea and other places, such as the poor state of the Korean economy in 2008 and Donald Trump’s presidency.
