Font lovers, rejoice! A new sans serif typeface family called Rubik font is now available. Rubik is a versatile font that you can use for various purposes. As part of the Chrome Cube Lab project, Philipp Hubert and Sebastian Fischer designed it at Hubert & Fischer.
With its slightly rounded corners, Rubik is suitable for creating modern designs. The Rubik’s Cube inspired it, hence the name. It is available in 227 glyphs, five weights, from light to black, with matching italics and Roman. It has a large x-height and open forms, making it suitable for both body text and headlines. Rubik Mono One is the monospaced version of Rubik in Black Roman.
A modified version of the font with Hebrew components was released by Meir Sadan. A modified version with the Cyrillic components was released in 2016 by Alexei Vanyashin.
