Orqquidea font is a sans-serif by peggo. Clean and low contrast Roman Sans with capitals based on the classic Capitalis Monumentalis proportions with uniform and modern SmallCaps. subtle touches of script on some curly strokes which give the impression of a softer as well as a more natural and inviting style.

The idea for the design came from 2013’s studies on Roman Scheme and the latest Version of Legan and other roman typefaces was an inspiration for it. Orqquidea was designed in 12 sizes and 659 glyphs that are each upgraded with opentype features for professionals (aalt, locl, ccmp, subs, and sups), numr, Dnom, frac, ordn, lnum onum, tnum C2sc, smcp as well as liga, dlig zero, salt calt Ss01, ss02 SSS03, as well as ss04) and a companion Orqquidea Framed version with 226 glyphs as well as an Orqquidea Garden version that include floral ornaments as well as Dingbats that have 102 glyphs.
