
Bookman Old Style Font
Bookman Old Style font is a serif typeface. It was designed by Morris Benton, and Ong Chong Wah and published by Monotype. The origins of Bookman Old Style lie in the typeface called Oldstyle Antique, designed by A C Phemister circa 1858 for the Miller and Richard foundry in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Monotype version is based on earlier Lanston Monotype and ATF models, but again was redesigned to match the ITC version. It is bundled with many Microsoft products, making it one of the most commonly used versions of Bookman.
