Snell Roundhand Font is a handwritten script typeface designed by Matthew Carter in 1966 and published through Linotype. This connecting script was based on the roundhand script of Charles Snell, a writing master from the 1600s. Carter later expanded on the design by adding two additional weights.
With its large x-height and severely graceful texture, Snell, impossible in metal, appears as the most typographic of photocomposition scripts. Roundhand, Anduaga, Embassy, and many more fonts are mostly similar to Apple Chancery font. This is a freeware font. Free download is available on our website.
