Bebas Neue is a sans-serif typeface designed by Ryoichi Tsunekawa. It was released in March 2010. There have been several updates to the font, and the last one was in 2019. The free version of the Bebas Neue font has only uppercase letters.

Flat-It Type Foundry published the font. The font’s design is focused on simplicity and has been updated to include Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic characters; this makes it more widely used than its predecessor, the original Bebas font. The font is available in five styles and four weights: thin, light, book, and regular. The font is inspired by the 1920s and 1930s fonts and is based on geometric shapes like the Helvetica font. You can tell it is a free, high-quality alternative to the fully paid Helvetica Font. The most striking quality of this font is the extra space between letters, which allows readers to identify individual letters and grasp their relationship.

But the designer has since made a professional version of this font called “Bebas Neue Pro.” The thinner uppercase from thin to regular weights was redesigned for Pro. The Bebas Neue Pro version added lowercase characters and other features. If you buy this font, you will also get the free ones.

You will love the Bebas Neue font, which is so crisp and clean. It’s mostly because it isn’t as curly as other fonts, making it easier to read on a screen. In addition, it looks stunning on your phone and computer, and its entire font family is free for personal and commercial use.

Usage

The Bebas Neue font is an attractive font that you can use for various typographic purposes. This font has been used to make quotes or messages more eye-catching or small bits of text on the web. It’s also suitable for making things like logos because it can be scaled up if needed and remain readable.

This typeface is designed to be used with touchscreen devices. For this reason, it is often referred to as “the Apple font.”

Bebas Neue is lovely for design purposes. Graphic designers use the font in projects. On the other hand, publishers use the condensed type for headlines and similar sections where presentation is the prime issue. It is also suitable for web fonts.

The Bebas Neue font is a modern font that will look gorgeous on any website. Be sure to try out the Bebas Neue font on your next project; it’s something you won’t regret.
