The Savoye font was designed by Alan Meeks in 1992 and published by ITC. The design owner of this font is Linotype. The designer of this font has worked in design and typography for more than 25 years. He also does logos and lettering. He made this font to reflect the German Jugendstil movement (1895–1910).
The flowing word figures are made by combining graceful upright letters. The difference between the light strokes and the incline to the right shows how lovely the Savoye font is. The large capital letters contrast with the small ones. Lower case letters have higher ascenders than their more reserved descendants.
The Savoye font has one style (Regular subfamily). However, this font features 183 glyphs, compared to 388 in the commercial. It also has 1000 units per EM. Additionally, the Savoye font has both horizontal and kerning.
But it has no fixed width, so this font is scalable. It is available in both free and premium versions. On both versions you’d get at least 56 language supports. You get commercial use access and ten open-type characteristics with the premium pack.
The Savoye Font is a beautiful font for invitations, greeting cards, and other personal correspondence. It is perfect for creating elegant designs. The font is easy to use and can be customized to create the perfect look for your projects. Due to its simple design, it is easy to read on-screen. That’s why you can use this font for your text-based projects.
However, this font’s modern design makes it suitable for any occasion. The Savoye Font will add class and elegance to your project. Additionally, the capital letters of the Savoy font can be used as initials when they are mixed with other alphabets.
