Alef font is an open-source multiscript sans-serif web font that can be used in Latin and Hebrew. Alef was created on the screen. It was designed to the pixel to expand the range of Hebrew fonts that are available for web design and to challenge Arial as the default. The font’s numerals are old-style proportional. To suit Hebrew and English languages, a series of numbers that ascend and descend the x-height.
