Short answer: Blanka is a futuristic, minimalist display font created by Emmeran Richard in 2014. Its broken strokes and geometric capitals are effective in short logos, posters, album art, and large headlines. The creator permits personal and commercial design use, but font use is different from publishing the font package for other people to download.

What gives Blanka its look?

The letterforms remove selected crossbars and stroke segments while leaving enough structure for the eye to complete each character. That produces a clean science-fiction mood without relying on heavy decoration. Richard’s original Blanka project says the font may be used for personal and commercial projects.
