The Twitter logo font is a typeface designed specifically for the microblogging website Twitter, founded on 21 March 2006. It allows you to publish “tweets” of up to 140 characters. Twitter has been around for years and has amassed a large following. The font used on the platform has always been a bit different from most other sites.

The Twitter logo was made with the font Pico Alphabet by Maniackers Design with a few changes. The Pico Alphabet comes in two styles: Pico Black and Pico White. It has 103 glyphs and 1000 units per EM. The font offers horizontal angles with kerning. However, it has no fixed width and is scalable. It had two upgrades in 2007 and in July 2008. Version 3.0 is out now.

Additionally, in 2012, the “Twitter Bird” was introduced as the new logo for Twitter. It is no longer acceptable to use “Twitter” or the lowercase letter “t.” Twitter recently introduced their new font called “Chirp.”
