Submit a Font for Review

FreeFontsVault accepts font submissions through a manual, moderated review. Sending a request does not publish a font automatically and does not guarantee acceptance or a review deadline.

How the submission review works

  1. Send an initial review request to ruhu1615@gmail.com. Include the family name, designer or publisher name, official portfolio/source URL, a short description, the exact license name and license URL, and whether you are the owner or an authorized representative. Do not attach font binaries to the first email.
  2. We check ownership and fit. A reviewer may ask for corrections, proof of authorization, a clearer license, or additional specimens. We may decline incomplete, unsafe, duplicated, misleading, or rights-sensitive submissions.
  3. If the request passes the first review, we will reply with instructions for a controlled file or share-link handoff. Typical review files are TTF, OTF, WOFF, or WOFF2 files in a ZIP, plus original PNG, JPEG, or WebP specimens. Do not send executable files or confidential information.
  4. Publication happens only after moderation. We check the file, metadata, preview, download behavior, source, and recorded license before a listing can be approved. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the rights information you provide.

Rights confirmation required

By submitting a font, you must confirm that you created it, control the necessary distribution rights, or have written authorization to submit it. State whether redistribution is allowed and identify any personal-use, commercial-use, embedding, modification, attribution, or resale restrictions. A font file will not be treated as open or commercially usable merely because it was sent to us.

Files, privacy, and withdrawal

The initial request is handled by email; this page does not upload or store a file in the browser. Email messages and any share links are subject to the retention controls of the email or file provider involved. Do not include confidential or unnecessary personal information. Before sending a request, you can inspect a local font file with the Font License & Health Checker. Its technical report can help identify naming, table, glyph, and embedding issues, but it is not legal advice and does not replace the original license.
